Abstract
This study has the purpose to check how the human body changes and the pain of diseases or muscle disorder is relieved when the body temperature is restored or elevated through the Okinawa therming holistic therapy machine and the dome. The thermal change on the skin was measured to find out the best use of heat injection. The result is as follows: In the reference group without receiving any therapy, the blood pressure went up a little. Meanwhile, in the patients who were treated with the heat injection and dome, the systolic blood pressure went down by 5~20 mm Hg and the diastolic pressure by 11 mm Hg in general. Among 10 experimental subjects, 9 patients with pain and disorder on their shoulder muscle showed 90~100% of muscle relaxation rate and almost 100% of pain relief. The patients with pain and disorder on their neck muscle showed 85~100% of remedial effect. Of the experimental subjects, 2 patients with pain and disorder on their waist showed 90% of remedial effect, and one patient with disorder on his leg muscle showed 100% of muscle relaxation and pain relief. Through the heat injection, the skin temperature of abdomen went up from 35.5oC to 38.8oC to the maximum. The weight of experimental subjects went down by 2~4 kg, the waist size by 2~4 cm and BMI by 0.9~1.5 after the heat injection. In conclusion, the treatment by heating machine and dome irradiating the far infrared rays decreased the weight, the waist size and BMI value, dropping down the systolic and diastolic blood pressures, too. The skin temperature went up. The effect of heat injection was so high that it would be valid as a natural therapy.
